Nikki Morris – JK Pilates Teacher
Nikki is a fully qualified sports and holistic massage therapist, and Pilates matwork instructor.
She has been a therapist for over twelve years and an equine and human sports masseuse since 2007. In 2014 Nikki qualified with BASI (Body Arts and Science International) as a Pilates mat teacher. This complements her massage approach and the rehabiliation process.
Her interest in Pilates and massage came about due to her own personal injury experience and found that both approaches were essential to recovery and rehabilitation.
Nikki teaches three weekly classes on behalf of JK Pilates. Her approach is to identify tight or weak musles and incorporate Pilates excercises and or apply massage and facilitated stretching to release tension, and where necessary inform individuals of strengthening excercises. Nikki’s aim is for individuals to improve suppleness, mobility and flexibility resulting in an improved posture and balance in the body.
Nikki is a keen horse rider, cyclist and believes in keeping physically active and understands how your body can react and become tense under stress, training and everyday life.
