Following my training with Petra Coveney the founder of Menopause Yoga, I am delighted to be able to offer workshops designed specifically for women during the menopause.
They are open to any woman at any stage, whether it’s perimenopause, menopause or post-menopause and my aim is to educate and support you on this journey.
This workshop is designed around Hot Flushes, Night Sweats and Insomnia
What you will enjoy on the day:
Welcome herbal tea
Introduction
Yoga
Breath work
Time to reflect
Handouts to keep
We begin this workshop with a herbal tea followed by an introduction from Caroline.
Know that this is a safe space where we can come together to share experiences and knowledge. You will have an opportunity to connect with other women on the same path, to support each other, and to speak freely without judgement should you wish to share.
The Yoga
Caroline will guide you through a gentle Vinyasa flow class, harmonising breath, and movement to calm the nervous system, introduce breath work exercises to manage the symptoms. We will practice restorative yoga and relaxing meditation.
There has been little information on how to manage the symptoms of Perimenopause, Menopause to Post Menopause. A lack of oestrogen can affect many parts of our body causing all kinds of symptoms emotionally and physically, the feeling that “someone has taken over my body.”
We now have a wealth of knowledge about nutrition, natural remedies, complimentary therapies, HRT exercise and Menopause Yoga – to help manage menopause symptoms.
You will leave the practice feeling rejuvenated, relaxed and healthy.
Suitable for all levels.
